Greetings!
It is exciting to see how God is raising up people around the world to use their gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God. Many people have skills and experience in life, but they are not sure how to use them for the Kingdom or what their particular calling is. In many cases, they look ‘inside’ the church to find their life’s calling, but they don’t see how they can be used. They may serve in several roles in the church, which is helpful, but these may not be their ‘life’s calling.
CE Business Empowerment is all about helping mobilize Business or Professional People understand the unique calling they have on their life and how God wants to use them. It is not just about money. It is about their skill and capacity as Business Men or Women to think strategically, to understand how to get things done, to manage projects well, to raise finances, to engage other people, to access resources, etc.
One of the tools we have developed to empower Business People is the ‘Kingdom Business Seminar. This seminar looks at having a Kingdom Perspective, Financing the Kingdom and Becoming a Kingdom Business Person. There are many ways to finance the Kingdom, and it is Business People who have the ability to develop ways and means to generate finances. There are a number ways of financing the Kingdom but the ultimate aim is to develop sustainability for any particular ministry or project.
Here are seven ways of financing the Kingdom:
1. Tithing
2. Free-Will Offering
3. Monthly Pledge
4. One-Time Gift
5. Faith-Promise Offering
6. Micro-Enterprise Business
7. Kingdom Business
There are many opportunities for Business People to use their gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God. Working out how to finance the kingdom, helping people develop Micro-Enterprises, establishing Kingdom Businesses are just some ways they can use their skills.
