Greetings!
I want to thank you for your ongoing prayers and support. Without your partnership, we would not be able to serve the Church in these regions. This last quarter has been another exciting time again.
In April, I returned to Singapore to minister at the 'Enjoy Church' It was great to connect with Ps Patrick and his team again and see how they are impacting their city and beyond. My focus for the weekend was to empower the church to reach out. This church is very active in several countries where they have been working for many years. The pastor and his wife are two key people in this region, because they are the Co-ordinators of the Global Leadership Summit in Singapore and Myanmar. I was also able to meet with them regarding thier work in Myanmar.
In May, I traveled to Myanmar to hold Church Empowerment Training. I love going into new areas and conducting training for the first time. Here is some feedback from the leader of the training centre: "Those who attended the seminar liked the teachings very much. The seminar opened their eyes and we need to pray for them to do things practically and learn things in the way you presented."
The leader said to me that they do not receive training on Church Empowerment, so it was very helpful and very practical. He has invited me to return to the border region later this year to conduct the training for Pastors from Rural Churches.
In June, I went to Malaysia to teach in the GET Mission School. This school runs for 8 weeks and it is an intensive training program for people wanting to work Cross-Culturally. There were students from 13 different countries in attendance, so it was exciting to see how God is raising up the Third-World Church on Missions. I have been invited back to teach in the school in 2012. I am so honoured to see schools like this developing, because the need to provide this type of training to the Third World Church is enormous!
Over the next three months, I will be going to Kuching, East Malaysia, New Zealand, Sydney and then China again. Please pray for these trips and for the on-going empowerment of the Church in these countries.
May God Bless you!
Neville
